The influence of the principal on further education of teaching staff

The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of the school principal on the further education of teaching staff. The main goal is to find out and evaluate what influence the school principal has on the further education of teaching staff. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. The theoretical part defines the concept of a school principal, describes his/her functions and roles, and determines the competences of a primary school principal. It also deals with further education of teaching staff. The basic terms related to further education of teaching staff, legal anchoring and strategic documents related to the issue are clarified. The division of continuing training of teaching staff and current methods of educational events is indicated. The work also describes the activities of the director in the process of further education of teaching staff at the school. The practical part presents a research investigation, which, based on interviews with school principals and a questionnaire for teaching staff, describes how principals create a further education plan. Speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director. Specifically, by analyzing the current state, the level of work in kindergartens in the sense of ensuring cooperation with SPC, PPP, clinical speech therapist, further education of pedagogical staff with a focus on speech therapy assistant. It also investigates the possibilities of obtaining funds for aids for children with speech disorders and subsequently also wages for DVPP, or for possible cooperation with a clinical speech therapist directly in kindergarten. What motivational methods does the director choose for the active approach of teaching staff, whether he sees this area as crucial and is ready to make possible changes for it. The content of the practical part of the thesis is the analysis of research survey data, when the method of qualitative research was chosen, in the form of a semi-structured interview with two directors of selected nursery schools. The interview questions are prepared to lead to the goal of the bachelor thesis. School principal at the implementer of changes affecting the quality of relations between the teaching stuff

This diploma thesis is focused on the position on headmaster and the relations between the teachers. The thesis has been devided into several chapters and subchapters. In the theoretical basis of this thesis there are the main basic concepts explained as school, culture of the school, headmaster, personality of the headmaster, vision of the school, concepts of leaderships and management. The main goal of this diploma thesis is an analysis and description of quality of the relations of teachers stuff. Secondary, the thesis approaches following questions: What kind of leadership has been applied at the chosen school? How and to what extent can the headmaster influence relations in the teachers stuff? How do the teachers perceive the personality of the headmaster? An analysis of questionnaires and interview are the main methods used to answer these questions. The final results of this research have been summarized in the conclusion.
